We crashed last night, probably due to the term’s tiredness rather than the trip. We actually found our second wind when we arrived in Vancouver, but it didn’t last very long and we slept for nearly twelve hours last night.

San Francisco Airport was the usual drag: I always plan too much time between flights – although that has served us well in the past. Not having flown domestically in the US for years, the boarding practices and announcements had us in stitches.

Vancouver is interesting: more Frontier than Sydney is even though it is of a similar size. The hotel is great: very comfortable, with pool and gym. We did Greek last night (great seafood and no chips) and found the most outrageous fudge and chocolate shop.

Today is the Aquarium and Stanley Park after a really nice breakfast!
