Board of Studies News.

There are some small changes to the layout of the School Certificate tests in Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Mathematics and Science.

The new test layouts will be used in the 2011 School Certificate tests.

The changes are:

Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship test:

  • The two sections of the Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship Test will not be stapled together but will be issued as two separate booklets.
  • The questions in each test will be numbered from Question 1.

Mathematics test:

  • In Section 1, Questions 1 to 20 will be answered on a separate Section 1 Answer Sheet and not on the test paper. Questions 21 to 25 will be answered on the test paper, as in the past.

Science test:

  • All stimulus material will appear in the body of the test with the related question(s). There will be no separate Stimulus Booklet.
