Having travelled this road, I am deeply sympathetic with parents who struggle to find services for their children who may have learning disabilities. It is increasingly difficult to find affordable services for some children who come from less wealthy families, but any teacher can tell you the cost of a lack of early intervention. Thank the good Lord for the high quality of state primary education: sadly, Catholic schools often lack the resources.
